Edmundham Developments Begins Construction on New West Suffolk Community

Construction is underway to bring 100 new homes to West Row, near Mildenhall.

Silverfield View is a new development being built by Edmundham Developments, a joint venture partnership between Suffolk County Council and Lovell Partnerships.

The first phase of building construction began in March 2026, directly to the east of Beeches Road, access will be via Mildenhall Road. Land is also set aside for a new parish council community building.

The 100 homes will be 2, 3 and 4 bedroom properties, with 30 being affordable homes.

Councillor Chris Chambers, Suffolk County Council’s Cabinet Member for Transport Strategy, Planning and Waste, and member of the board, said:

“It’s great to see the Edmundham Developments portfolio developing and bringing even more homes to West Suffolk.

“With sales already secured at our new site in Newmarket, we’re looking forward to bringing more high quality and sustainable homes, social housing and new community facilities to the area.”

Homes are built to exceed modern standards, combining thoughtful design, high specification and future ready technology to deliver lasting comfort and performance.

Triple glazed windows and doors are fitted throughout, alongside enhanced insulation to both the external walls and ground floors to offer exceptional thermal performance.

Each home features a highly efficient air source heat pump system, photovoltaic panels and underfloor heating for the ideal balance of comfort and control.
